Scarborough Little League

PO Box 1291
Scarborough, Maine 04070

Scarborough Little League is initiating an Equipment Recycling Program this year and are asking for your help and support.

Beginning Memorial Day weekend, we will be collecting all gently used baseball and softball equipment to redistribute into our community. Think about all the cleats, batting gloves, baseball/softball gloves, and T-Ball bats just lying around unused in your home. This is a nice opportunity to recycle them for use by other children in Scarborough.  For all equipment that is very used, we will be donating it to a designated Third World country to provide to children who have no baseball and softball equipment at all. Please clean up the equipment with warm soapy water.

Drop-off Location:      Scarborough Hannaford's store off Rt One

The bins are located in the doorway as you exit the door.

Drop-off times: May 23rd through June 6th

July 4th through July 18th

Please support our community's needs by making this donation.

Scarborough Little League is a private, non-profit, all volunteer organization of Scarborough residents dedicated to the enjoyment and development of Scarborough children through their participation in T-ball, softball and baseball programs offered each Spring to children between the ages of 6 and 16.

Little League is the largest organized youth sports program in the world. Scarborough Little League was established in 1969 and currently enrolls more than 750 children, in 9 divisions, on more than 60 teams, playing on 12 different fields in Scarborough in April, May and June. All-star teams begin play at the end of June and play into July. Scarborough all-star teams have competed at the New England, Eastern Regional, and National World Series levels.

All games are played in Scarborough except travel leagues (13-16 years) which play teams in surrounding towns both locally and in away games.

The Board of Directors and Coaches are Scarborough parent volunteers. If you are interested in learning more about a particular division, or volunteering in Little League, please click on the appropriate link or contact the appropriate person below.
