Little League is the largest organized youth sports program in the world. Scarborough Little League was established in 1969 and currently enrolls more than 750 children, in 9 divisions, on more than 60 teams, playing on 12 different fields in Scarborough in April, May and June. All-star teams begin play at the end of June and play into July. Scarborough all-star teams have competed at the New England, Eastern Regional, and National World Series levels. All games are played in Scarborough except travel leagues (13-16 years) which play teams in surrounding towns both locally and in away games. The Board of Directors and Coaches are Scarborough parent volunteers.
