The annual book sale is our major fundraiser of the year.
It is held at the Scarborough Library each year in June.
99% of our books are donated, and over half are hardcover.
Book prices range from $0.25 to $3.00 with some higher priced
"specials" including old books and first editions.
There is always a great variety of childrens' books.
Fiction titles range from penny dreadfuls to Pulitzer prize winners.
Nonfiction titles include history, travel, nature, biographies, ...
We had over 20,000 volumes for sale in 2007, and over 26,000 in 2008.
Gently-used books to be donated may be left in the library lobby.
No comics, text books, or encyclopedias, please.
