Scarborough Reads

	This year's Scarborough Reads program will feature the book The Lobster Coast by Maine author Colin Woodard, who will be participating. The Lobster Coast tells the story of Maine from earliest settlement to the development-driven challenges of today. Few towns model this history as completely as Scarborough, which was settled early (because its marshes could support colonists’ livestock) and has in recent decades experienced some of the steepest development pressures in the state.
